How the game works

    1. You just got your top secret envelope, now what?

    • Check out the list and keep an eye out in the mall

  • 2. Check out the list

    • Find a spot to go over the list with your team and fill out the team info page

  • Thor and

    3. Don't run to your car just yet!

    • There may be important spots in the mall to check out…

  • 4. Hunt from 9am-3pm

    • You will be visiting everywhere: local businesses, parks, statues, murals, and more!

    • Be sure to strategize and use your time wisely (strategy beats speed; drive safely!)

  • 5. There are 420 items on the list

    • The goal is to earn the most points; you don’t have to hit all the items on the list

  • 6. Take good photos at the checkpoints

    • EX: If you’re at a park, take a picture with the park sign, not a random bush - prove you were actually there

  • 7. Make sure your pics Include the following:

    • Both team members' faces (no masks)

    • Gamecard

    • Proof you found the checkpoint (we check!)

  • 8. Enter the costume contest for easy extra points

    • It is open 10am-2pm at Miller's Martial Arts on Graham Ave

    • We will take the pics for you; just mark off on your list that you did it

    • Make sure to look for the post and vote for your favorite costume - $300 is on the line for the team with the best outfit

  • 9. Moneyman spies will be around to make sure players are following the rules

    • They may be in a Moneyman shirt or in regular clothes

    • They can deduct points if they find you not following the rules

    • Make sure you drive and park safely and legally

  • 10. Set time aside before drop-offs to self-score your list

    • You will need this time to add up all your points

    • Make sure you write your final score on the player information page and the scoring sheet

    • Points will be deducted if your score is calculated incorrectly

    • Take photos of each page of your graded list for documentation

  • 11. Make sure the following are in your returned top-secret envelope

    • Gamecard

    • Completed team info sheet

    • Completed score sheet

    • Self-scored list

      • Your packet should be 13 total pages 

  • 12. Drop-off your top secret envelope at Luray or Roxbury Park

    • There is a strict 3 pm deadline

    • Being late to drop-offs, even by one minute, is not a winning strategy

  • 13. Failure to return each required item in the top-secret envelope will result in complete team disqualification

    • You don’t want this to happen, so follow the rules

  • 14. Now you have all these pictures; what do you do with them?

    • Post all the photos from the cash cam to Facebook or your Instagram story

      • Whichever one you marked on your list

    • The deadline to post is 5PM

    • On Facebook, create an album labeled “Moneyman 2026,” and it must be set to public

    • Tag Moneyman 

    • Ensure the captions are in the corner of the photo from the cash cam before posting, or photos will not be counted 

    • On Instagram, post all captioned pictures to your Instagram story

      • Follow Moneyman and set your profile to public 

    • Make sure to make an intro/outro post explaining what the pics are 

      • Ex intro “ready to hunt for 10k! @moneymanmf”

      • Ex outro “Had so much fun today!”

  • 15. Hang out at your favorite place you found today!

    • You just had a super fun day, time to relax and wait to see if you made it to the finals!

  • 16. We will call finalists once we are finished grading

    • The 5 highest-scoring teams will make it to the finals, plus 2 wildcard teams

    • Scoring higher increases your chances of being picked for a wildcard team; don't give up!

  • 17. The 7 finalists teams will receive instructions following their phone call

    • Good luck and happy hunting - one team is going home with $10,000!
