!!Very Important!!

You must score your own List. Make sure you save time before drop-offs to accurately add up your checkpoints. A winning strategy is to get to the drop off location sooner rather than later. Before you pack up your Top-Secret Envelope, take a picture of your completed and self-scored List. The entire list. All pages. This will be needed to caption each posted photo to your Facebook album. Snapchat/Instagram users...you should take a pic of your list too.

Drop Offs: 3pm Deadline

The 3:00 drop-off deadline is approaching, head to any one of the 4 drop-off locations listed below. Hand to a Moneyman agent.

You must drop off your entire Top-Secret Envelope with the following items included:

  • Page 1 (that's attached to The List)

  • Gamecard (plastic team ID number)

  • Your self-scored List (Remember to write your total score on page 1 in the box)

Failure to include any of these 3 items will result in disqualification. The entire Top-Secret Envelope will need to be dropped off by 3:00 pm today. An agent will be at the location wearing an official Moneyman shirt from 2-3:30pm. A good strategy is to get there early so you have time to tally your list. Last event some teams ran out of time while adding up their own sheets. Once you tally up your score and take photos of your list simply hand over your Top-Secret Envelope to a Moneyman agent

There will be a point penalty for late drop offs. Being late is not a winning strategy. Ruined or wet Top-Secret Envelopes will be penalized.

Regardless of your score or late penalty assessed, turn your envelope in for a chance at the wildcard...

Wildcard

5 teams will make the finals. The 4 top scoring teams along with 1 wildcard team will be invited. The wildcard will be chosen at random out of those who successfully dropped off their envelope and posted their pictures to Facebook, Snapchat, or Instagram. Everyone has a chance to be the wildcard team. The higher scoring teams will have higher odds of being chosen. What this means... don't give up. Keep marking off those checkpoints and increasing your odds of making it in as the wildcard. Make sure you finish the game by dropping off your envelope and posting to Facebook, Snapchat, or Instagram. Goodluck!

Finals: Approximately 7pm

My agents will work fast to compare your List to your Facebook album or Snapchat/Instagram story. The 4 highest scoring teams along with 1 wildcard team will make it to the finals. Wait for a call. You'll meet and be handed a map and gold shovel. The first team to dig up the cash will keep the $1Ok!

Waivers and agreements

Names on the signed waivers and agreements will be the official players. Those signed names must match your identity at the end of the day. Finalist will be required to have proof of identification. Proof of age of assistants (12 and under) will be required for finals. Prize and finals appearance will be forfeited by any team with inaccurately documented waivers and agreements.

Posting pictures

You will need to post your pictures to Facebook, Snapchat, or Instagram. My agents will find your pictures for validation. There are requirements to use Snapchat or Instagram. Facebook users you are good to go. To entice you guys to use Facebook, extra bonus points are available to earn.

Facebook option (recommended)

You will need to post your pictures in an album on Facebook to be audited by my agents. You must post them by the deadline of 5pm. The game ends at 3pm so you will have a window of time to complete posting.

To post pics, make sure your Facebook page is not set to private. Create an album titled Moneyman 2023. Tag Moneyman. Post all pictures. Go into each picture and caption it with the matching number from your self-documented version of The List, labeled "caption number.” This is a strict 5pm deadline. An instruction video is available. You can click the link below for a step-by-step tutorial. You may need to post 2 albums if you check off over 80 checkpoints. There is a Facebook only bonus that you will find on the list. This bonus is valued higher than Snapchat/Instagrams version. For tech savvy only: The best overall strategy is to take a picture on an app like Snapchat, caption the pic right on the pic and then click save. Then after the drop-offs upload that already edited / captioned picture to Facebook. This will save you time after the game. No matter what, take a photo of each page of your list.

Snapchat option: 

There are 2 requirements for using the Snapchat option:

  1. You must be friends with all 3 of my grading accounts BlackbeardMM, RedbeardMM, and my personal Moneymanmf

  2. You must use an account with a score over 10,000.

With Snapchat you will be posting pictures to your story throughout your day. No private stories. Once you and your teammate find a checkpoint, open Snapchat and take a qualifying picture. Before posting it to your story you must mark it with the caption number. Simply type in the matching number and include it on your story. Failure to put a caption number on your pics will result in disqualification of that picture. Mention Moneymanmf on at least one of your posts. There is a Snapchat only bonus that you will find on the list.

Instagram story option (not recommended)

There are 2 requirements for using the Instagram story option:

  1. You must be friends with Moneymanmf

  2. You must use an account with a following count of over 250.

With Instagram stories you will be posting pictures to your story throughout your day. Once you and your teammate find a checkpoint, open Instagram stories and take a qualifying picture. Before posting it to your story you must mark it with the "caption number." Simply type in the matching number and include it on your story. Failure to put a caption number on your pics will result in disqualification of that picture. Tag moneymanmf on at least one of your posts. There is an Instagram only bonus that you will find on the list.

rules / instructions

The list: 

A Checkpoint is 1 specific item/location. Each checkpoint on the list has a point value. The goal is to get the most points. You will not finish The List as there are too many checkpoints with little time. This is where strategy will come into play. Do you quickly get the easy 1 pointers or take time and travel to the high values? You must tally up your score before turning in your Top-Secret Envelope. Write your total score on The List and at the top of Page 1. There will be a point penalty for inaccurate addition. Important: Take a photo of each page of the list before dropping off. You need to know the caption numbers.

Gameplay: Now-3pm

Start strategizing. Your goal is to find the checkpoint, take a qualifying picture, then check it off The List. A quantifying photo must include: 

· Both searchers' faces (without a mask) (only searchers are required in photos)

· Gamecard (plastic team ID number)

· Proof of checkpoint in the photo 

For example, if a checkpoint on the list is Highland Park just taking a picture in front of a tree will not be enough. Find a sign, trail marker, or anything that will show picture proof that you were at the exact location. Find something significant and unique to that checkpoint to take your picture in front of. All 3 requirements listed above prove your team found the checkpoint today. One picture per checkpoint. If your photo is inversed, please flip it before posting. Make sure all photos are clear and not blurry. So, reach that arm out for a good selfie, set a self-timer, or whip out the selfie stick to get the perfect picture! Just make sure you get a good shot. No hand drawn checkpoints or image searching on your phone. For example, you can't Google a picture of orange juice and take a picture with your Googled image. I have the power to deny any photo. Remember you must prove you found the item or were at the checkpoint location.

Team Uniforms and Costume Contest

Simply wearing a costume will earn you points. Make sure you find this on the list and mark it off. Again, the costumes do not need to be collaborate to cam these points. Masks, heavy face paint, or anything covering your face as part of your costume are not allowed. My favorite costumes will be posted to social media for a fan vote. Winning team will earn a $500 prize. You will earn easy points for entering the costume contest even if your get-up is not trophy worthy. Head to the costume contest backdrop for a pic by Moneyman agents. It will be in the old American Eagle at The Galleria Mall. You will not need to take a photo yourself. We got it.

 

Moneyman Spies

My spies will be all around town taking pictures, answering questions, but mainly enforcing rules. Some will be in official Moneyman shirts. Others will be in street clothes. The smartest team will win, not necessarily the fastest. Take the time to strategize. You must obey all traffic laws. Do not speed or park illegally. If my spies catch any speeders or bad park jobs, I'll be notified, and you will be docked points or disqualified. Safety is #1 priority. Please don't randomly dig for the cash. You won't find it without being a finalist.
